3 cups fine dry cassava flour, 2 ozs. Glow Spread (or alternative margarine), 3 ozs. Velvo Kris (or alternative shortening), 1 cups sugar, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 grated coconut, 1 or 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence, 1 teaspoon mixed spice, 1 teaspoon powder orange or rind or orange
Mix dry ingredients together. Add melted shortening, milk, beaten eggs and essence. Bake in moderate oven about 1 hour. Glaze with sugar and water before baking.
